Q: How old does my child have to be to start taking lessons?
A: We like the kids to be at least 7 years old. Our lessons are given on full size horses and we feel that at 7 they have enough power in there young bodys to control the horse.

Q: What is involved with your basic lessons?
A: We teach all there is to know about horses, from A---Z starting from the ground, and working our way up. Grooming, feeding, tack, and breed history, as well as the basics of riding.

Q: I have bad experiences with horses, I am now afraid of them, will your lessons help me?
A: Yes in deed, by going back to the basics you will build confidence slowly. You will learn to relax around the horse, and that will carry on to riding as well. Each student is advanced at thier own pace, it is a one on one lesson, custom made to your abilities.

Q: What type of horses do you use?
A: American Quarter Horses because of thier calm nature.

Q: Do you sell horses?
A: Yes, if you see a horse here that you are interested in, you can purchase the horse or you can lease it for a month or two, take your lessons on it to better help you make your decision. Leasing a horse is $130.00 per month for on site only.

Q: Can I take lessons on my own horse?
A: Only if you are a boarder here at the ranch. Or your horse is here under training.
We do not have students bringing thier horses every week.

Q: Do you train horses?
A: Yes, we have at our Ranch an award winning trainer. When she gets done with your horse it will be trained with a gentle hand and your horse will love to work. She has the rare talent of being able to read the horse and know what it needs. Very important, because not every horse, just like children, learn at the same pace.

Q: What are the prices of your horses for sale?
A: Our horses range in price from apx. $2500.00 on up depending on what you want. We have 4 H horses for show, and we have just everyday trail horses. We have learned the hard way you get what you pay for. Good broke, safe horses are not going to be $500.00, those days are gone.
